Michael Svec has been Director of the Bay Winds Community Band since 1994. With undergraduate and graduate degrees from Morehead University, Mike is head of the Music Department at Annapolis High School and Director of the Annapolis High School Band and Orchestra.

Our Assistant Conductor, Russ DeVilbiss (MUCS,USNR), retired from the U.S. Naval Academy Band in 1995. Russ is also our principal oboe.
